A. I think that the most powerful image is the one that is labeled as Basic training didn't begin to prepare Ian Fisher for military life.

B. The images work together to show a story by making a story showing all the hardships and happy moments that Ian experienced, putting together his story from the U.S army.

C. The captions enhance the photographs by explaining what is happening in the photos, because not in all photos its clear what is happening.

D. Fisher was enrolled in the army in June 2007, at the time he was 17 years old. For a while he was having trouble in the army and at home, not being connected to either place, though later in the future he started having more friends in the army. Through training Fisher had a fun playful experience though he did learn. Later on they were put on a raid as a test. And the commander stated that half of the team would be killed. The ones that would have been killed had to leave though fisher and 3 others stayed in training. Soon after that he was issued a blue medal for completion of training. After months of training he got moved back to his home town and was an hour away from his friends and they vouched to see him. Fisher was later caught smoking after training and was forced for a punishment of pushups which he completed with success, sit-ups and a 2 mile run which he wasn't able to do. Later he had a week home were he bought an engagement ring for his girlfriend though wasn't going to propose until christmas in front of family. Later his drug problem got bigger, and he had a meeting with his father, it turned out that he broke up with his girl friend and says that that was one of the reasons. Closer to the end of his carrier Ian flew to Iraq to fight.

Abandoned theme parks

11. Out of all amusement parks i would have visited the Holy land park. It caught my attention because it could have a long story. Being able for me to go take photos there as of this moment and catch the seeds of how it looks right now and who lives there. And right the stories of the park, the murder, gangs etc. And i could have taken another set of pictures in several more years due to the fact that the park was bought from the gangs and is currently being under reconstruction and they want to build a new amusement park.

2.
3. An interest to a photographer would be an abandoned city, abandoned underwater anything, abandoned park, Luisiana, because it will probably be underwater in 20 years.

4.
5. A underwater would be an interesting documentation seen because people don't know about them and most people have never seen them, and in general not much is known about them.

6. The only equipment i would need is a suitcase my close, scuba diving suit, water proof camera.

Africa

1. I read about a photographer who went into Africa to get pictures of animals in their natural environment. I was surprised about how patient the photographer was with the photos, waiting 17 days to capture a photo of the lion. That sounds like an achievement. Nether the less the photos he took were pretty impressive, about how close he was able to get to some of the animals.

2.

3. I really like this photo not only because of the content but also because of respect to the photographer for sitting there 17 days waiting for a perfect shot. I like this photo because of how good the lightning is and the simplicity of the photo.

4. Rule of thirds, the lion is in the middle left segment of the photo. Avoiding merges, no body limbs are cut off. Simplicity, the subject is clear.

5. The camera lens that Nick Brandt uses is a Pentax 67 camera lens which he modified. This is important to his photos because it creates a soft focus and a tilt shift effect.

6. His reason for taking these photos is to take pictures of animals in Africa in their natural environment and condition. Also he hopes to persuade people not to kill these animals and try to keep them alive, because THEY ARE SLOWLY DIEING OFF!

7. His hope for taking these photos is to persuade people not to kill these animals and try to keep them alive. And to keep memory of them.

8. In 2005 ivory cost $400 a kilogram. Today, it is $6,000 a kilo. As a result, about 10 percent of Africa's elephant population is killed every year, about 30,000 elephants a year.

Photo prompt #3

Warm Up

1. After seeing these photographs i feel like there are many thousands of people who undergo cancer and that there should be developed a cure as fast as possible.
2. I think that he meant that they don't describe them by there character and by who they are but they are pictures of them just in bad luck.
3. I don't think that i could have undergone the emotions to take photos like such.

Great black and white photographers 3

                Inspired- By Ansel Adams
1. The first thing that caught my attention when i saw this photo was the simplicity of it and the subject. I also Really like the lighting and the shutter speed that Adams chose. I also like that this photo doesn't need colors, it looks great with out them. And it looks as if, if there were colors then the photo would look the same.

2.Sight- I would see the ripples on the water and the slight movement of the Canoe rocking back and forth.
Smell- I would smell the fresh salt air coming from the Sea.
Hear- I would hear the slight waves rolling onto the ground.
Taste- I would taste the salt water.
Feel- I wold feel the camera in my hands and the slight wind blowing against my skin.

Assignment 09/27/17

Aperture
Image result for photo taken at F2.8F2

#1 The sharpness of the photo.
#2 The smaller the aperture the more sharp is the main subject and the larger the aperture the sharper the background will be.
#3 Aperture directly affects the depth of field because aperture affects the sharpness of the background and that is the direct definition of depth of field.

-Shutter priority is where the camera automatically sets the aperture for you
-In manual you set both by yourself

ISO

#1.The advantage of shooting at a higher ISO at a sports event is because the camera captures a fraction of a second rather than a hole second making the photo less blurry.

#2. Using low ISO is helpful when you have a lot of light.

#3. Using high ISO is helpful when you don't have a lot of light.

Mural project review

1. Starbucks coffee cup in different places, Subject-Coffee cup, different backgrounds
    Don't worry be Happy!
    Boredom

2. I will need to be setting the ISO for a permanent and adjust the shutter speed and aperture.

3. I would make my poster on word, because that is a program that i can manipulate very well with and it would be easy for me to create a Mural on word. And i would post the final result on my blog.
