I-Movie introduction

1. After opening the websites with the given links, they all had some sort of repetition about I-Movie. Frankly each had something different, i learned how to edit videos, how to crop them, how to move them to different positions in the movie. Also it mentioned that this is considered one of the easiest movie programs out their. And has everything necessary in logical places and no unnecessary tools.
2. I have only heard the name I-Movie before and knew that it is a movie operator.
3. I didn't know that you could add photo to the program. I though you could only have videos.
4. Their are not any concerns for me with this project. Only the fact that i will only have one chance to get a photo of a race start and if i mess that up then i don't have a good way to take the photo again, to still have the same spirit in the photo.
5. I have my story plan ready, know what i am going to say, shoot, and how to arrange it.
6. I will do a race weekend. From the time we leave the house with all the equipment, pick up my friend for a ride. Time lapse the pre-ride get photos of the team relaxing, the pep talk, and the race day. Finishing with dropping off my friend and coming back home.

Earthquake story

There are multiple places in the world that receive multiple natural disasters. One of which is San Fransisco.
A Earthquake struck San francisco bay at 8:12 PTD. Although the quake could have gone much worse, their were still 2 deaths involved. The only building that was effected by the 30 second quake was the "McHenry's auto supply the building located at 2342 plume st." Said Vu. "The building partially collapsed killing two people, 6 others were injured. Four of which were in crucial condition and were transported Hayward Hospital. No serious injuries were noticed" Vu Said. The earthquake happened due to tectonic plates rubbing "affecting the city of San Fransisco all the was to South Los Angeles." Vu Said. "The quake lasted roughly 30 seconds with a big jolt in the middle." Said mike beamer, resident of Hayward. According to scientist Penny Gartz "The earthquake was a strong one, it was ranked 6.4 on the pitcher scale."
"Two minutes after the earthquake 21 fire personal 12 Police men and five american cross members came to the auto shop holding it off with ropes trying to hold the building from fully collapsing, This was achieved" Vu Said. "Although the building was held off a gas line under the building had a leak" Said Vu.
"The earthquake was under the Hayward Hills and was caused by the Hayward fault. This was the strongest point of the earthquake were it hit the 6.4 mark and making its way down as expanding toward San Fransisco bay and South Los Angeles.
Earth Quakes are the type of natural disaster that is one of the most often and the most impossible to predict. This makes it deadly and by history their are always some sort of deaths or injuries involved and that is sadly inavoidable.

Huntington story

Sometimes it is possible to get shot by a gun without even suspecting it. "53 year old Janice Jones was shot in the leg at 10:00am Wednesday morning by accident" said press control Tammy Rye.
This past Wednesday in Barstow California, Jones was shot in her trailer near Highway one, by her "Pomeranian" dog.  According to Rye "Jones was in her mobile home eating pork chops when her dog "Tombo" knocked down Jones 9mm handgun, which disarmed and fired hitting Jones in the right leg". Although this is not the best it could have gone "the bullet hit through the wall of the trailer 2inches away from the gas tank. It could have gotten much worse" said Rye.
After the event "Jones was transported to Huntington beach hospital, late transported to a medical center" said Rye. "The dog went to a animal patrol and had fresh cigarette burns on its forehead" said Rye. "We will be investigating in filling a report for animal abuse on Jones" said NGO.

SoM

Every month Bowie High School nominates a student to be "Student of the month". This award shows that the student has had exceptional behavior through out the month, helping students, teachers and staff when asked. Staying after class to help teachers, meanwhile being able to maintain straight A's and having time for personal life.
As of February 2018 10th grader Erin Rannefeld was awarded this award. "Im really proud of myself, this year I've been working really hard to get my grades to a satisfactory level and i am glad that the effort paid off" Says Erin. She was presented the award in first period followed by a shoutout on the announcements and Pep-Rally. "We where really excited when we had a final choice for this award, Rannefeld was a exceptional student willing to stay after class to help her teachers and always has a smile while doing so" Said Principle Mr. Robinson.
Erin was not expecting this award and didn't know that it even existed. "Most people in the school do not know that this award exists, that being said i believe Mr. Robinson should announce that this award is something that you could win".
Earlier in the week Rannefeld was talking about her experience, she was not sure what made her stand out in front of other students yet here is her point of view. "I think it was noticed by my teachers that I was working so hard, and my teachers know that I had to work extra hard to keep up with my grades because I have a lot of other things to keep up with in and outside of school."
Rannefeld says that she would love to see other students presented with this award. "There are tons of students out there who deserving the award".
The Student of the month award will be decided on April 3rd. Here are a few words of advice about how you could win it. "Just go the extra mile, help teachers, help your friends, work extra hard in your classes, and be great full for where you are".

Nut Graf

In every story, essay, research their is a beginning middle and end. Though in Journalism the "middle" part of the story is called the Nut Graf. So basically it is just a fancy word for middle. Though not really.
In the Beginning part you have to right a hook and catch the readers attention by introducing what the article is going to be, usually this means that you give a brief idea including the major highlights that might catch the readers attention. And the Nut Meg is the "So what" part it is asking "So why did you just give me all that info, what is it for. So What" In the Nut Graf you add in the details of the story.
